Bloodhound is a red and white American Staffordshire Terrier (aka pitbull). She's a whole lotta woman! Her ears are cropped, but her tail is natural - even though it's not very long. She's short and fat.

Blood's real name is Bernadette, which she dislikes. It is rare that she'll give out her real name to someone - it's something that needs to be earned. The story I've come up with is this: In third or fourth grade, when she had more boys as friends than girls, she played rough and tumble games and was tomboyish. One day, she got into a fight with a school bully, and landed a punch that bloodied his nose, earning her the nickname 'The Blood-Hound'. She clung to the nickname, making it more and more her own, until people finally began calling her that almost exclusively.

A lot of my artwork features Blood. She's one of my favorite subject matters, even if that seems conceited. It is also not uncommon to see her depicted in sexual situations with people's characters. A lot of this artwork is commissioned, and does not reflect any desire to be as promiscuous as Bloodhound is. Basically: Just because I might agree to draw my character having sex with yours doesn't mean I'm interested in real life. Just FYI. Bloodhound, like me, is 100% heterosexual. Breasts and vaginas are of no interest to her (other than her own, I suppose!).

Bloodhound's got hazel/green eyes, a liver-colored nose, and two spots of red on her body. One is the hallmark patch covering the left side of her face, and the other is an area that covers her tail and the small of her back. Everywhere else, the fur is white. On several parts of her body, the fur grows so thin that pinkish flesh is visible underneath. This occurs on the front of her muzzle and on her stomach, surrounding her navel. She has humanoid genitals, plantigrade feet, and regular (not pawlike) hands. Blood has no hair, per se, and thus no hairdo.
