He's a bit of a sheltered momma's boy who's been tossed ass-over-teakettle into the real world to fend for himself and fend he has. While he'll always be a mushy teddybear at heart, Maurice is no longer afraid to stick up for himself. He'll kick you square in the teeth if he thinks you deserve it. That being said, it's pretty hard to get him mad. It's hard to make an enemy out of Maurice. He tries his best to get along with everyone and aches to please. He is a child of the 80's and his deep Texan accent is slathered with gems like "totally" and "dude."

Maurice has been stuck in Hetherev for three long years now. At first he was confused and scared. Then he grew gloomy as the second years stretched on and resigned himself to being a workhorse. It's not a pretty job, but it puts beer in his mug.

Now days, while he still has the occasional blue spell, the horseman is too busy to feel bad about much for too long. If he's not on the ocean or the docks, he can be found waiting outside (or inside) the taverns to do taxi work. And if he's not in town, he's off on some new quest for rare fruits with 'interesting' effects.

Maurytaur is a silly fantasy AU version of my existing character, Maurice, who I'm slowly writing books about.

There's a sort of art roleplay/ prompt challenge group over on deviantart called Hetherev where you dump your OC into the world's setting and then they have adventures. I turned him into a centaur for the occasion because I am shameless and love to draw stupid horsie butt people.

THEN IT DIDN'T STOP. Maurytaur is my de-stress art therapy baby and a lot of people seem to like him!
