RPDs life began, or rather ended, in Raccoon City. It was during the T-Virus outbreak to which caused his current situation. A police officer for the Raccoon Police Department, he was fending off a large wave of undead with his fellow officers when he was ambushed by a Licker while he was distracted. Several hours had passed and the officer had begun to turn and about that time the UBCS had stormed the station; as oppposed to ending the life of the mutating officer they were ordered to sedate and bring him back, alive.
Weeks of incubation, properly tweaking his mutations, slowing it down and injecting anti-virus at vital points to make him into a Tyrant-esque Licker with his name stripped, replaced with a number, “3586-UMB”. A controllable Bio-Weapon with the capabilities to follow orders and the flexibility of that of a standard human. Implanting a cerebral control device along his lobes and spinal column he was the perfect soldier.
Or so they thought. His missions were simple; eliminate survivors of the incident and silence those who have information. He himself did not break his control, it was a lucky shot from one of his targets. Cornering them and just before the strike, he was attacked from behind by another survivor with a steel pipe, severely damaging the unit. Defending himself against the assault, the Licker ended the lives of the two; only to find out that they were former officers of the Raccoon Police Department.
A flood of memories of working with these people came to him, but his name, his face, everything else was missing. Donning the acronym ‘RPD’ as his own name, he returned to base to bide his time for an escape and in the process was sent out on more missions, exterminating those whom of which he called friend at one point. The time came, and he managed to escape from the facility to put an end to Umbrella and the viruses; but his deeds will never escape him. RPD drinks heavily to forget, forget the faces of those who he killed with his own hands.
