Laverna is certainly well-fitted to be captain, as any other position would end up frustrating both her and her superior to no end. She's a stubborn lass who does things her own way, not giving much thought to what others (Including her crew of twenty) might think. Her capabilities in battle are unparalleled in the area she's claimed as her stomping ground, but she still has herself on a strict training regimen. Despite her rather brash outer shell, she's doggedly loyal and will do absolutely anything to ensure the safety of her crew.

Her Demon has certainly gotten her out of a tight spot more than once, but sometimes they'll get into arguments so loud and intense her crew will hole themselves up in their cabins. Once both the demon and the captain have let off a bit of steam and forget what they were fighting about in the first place, they'll ignore each other (As much as they can, anyway) for a few days before pretending it never happened. This is a rather frequent occurrence, but they certainly make a good team against a common enemy. It's not that they dislike each other (In fact, when not figuratively at each other's necks, they get along pretty well), it's just that they're both mules who hate being told what to do.

Her favorite treasure is gold, of course! Shiny, valuable gold. The base of all riches! Use it to buy, use it to impress, use it to adorn! If you want anything, you need gold first. She isn't quite as greedy as many other captains out there, but that doesn't mean she'll be sniffing at it any time soon.
