Cyroe was born in the of the city Krithan, a fairly large city located in the northern regions of the world, a rather cold place where not too often was it not snowing. In his youth, Cyroe had always felt out of place in the upper city with the rest of the middle and upper class and often ventured to the lower parts of the city to explore. Rumors spread of Cyroe's ventures into the lower city, which many saw as disgraceful and would begin to treat Cyroe as such, with glares and insults, some even beating him. Once Cyroe's father discovered what he was doing, he forbade Cyroe from going into the lower city and began to train Cyroe to defend himself from those who were prejudiced against the lower class and those who associated with them. Through the rest of his youth Cyroe became a formidable fighter, sparring daily with his father who had hoped to recruit Cyroe into a guard for the city or even have him join the royal military, despite all of his father's guidance, Cyroe eventually became a freelance mercenary roaming the country looking for odd jobs and adventure.
