--- BIO ---

Hyasi is a native of Rakhana. He didn't fare well on the sunny desert planet due to his albinism, and he was considered sickly; his parents, concerned for their first child's health, made arrangements to send him into service at a temple of Amonkira on Kahje. They believed that the God of Hunters could grant Hyasi strength to overcome his 'illness.'

Before the arrangements were finalised, he was abducted into slavery as a child, considered desirable because of his colour (or lack of). Years later as an adult, he was purchased and rescued by the hanar Naldyryrn. Hyasi now works as its personal assistant/servant.

He's a decent sniper, but pretty balls at all other combat. He was marked as a slave with tattoos on both shoulders, and he's since had the skin peeled to remove them. The scars are pretty much in the shape of the tattoos though, and anyone familiar with slavers would probably recognise the outline.

Hyasi usually wears dark-lensed goggles because his eyes are horribly light-sensitive. He's had genetic modification performed on his eyes so he can 'read' the hanar's language, which actually improved his vision (he was near-sighted).

--- PERSONALITY ---

Hyasi is really paranoid and nervous around groups of people, and prefers to avoid prolonged direct interaction, especially with species other than drell or hanar. Has difficulty making or maintaining eye contact unless he's utterly terrified. He's usually soft-spoken, but tends to babble when he's nervous or excited.

Like every other drell, he possesses a powerful eidetic memory, though he has learned some powerful control over it, simply to avoid spending half of every day recalling visions of his time as a slave.

After years of living on whatever terrible food he could get as a slave, he's got a "stuff yourself whenever there's food, might not be more for weeks" mentality, and now that he finds plenty of good food readily available, he tends to overindulge, so he's a fatty.

Has a dislike for volus and a crippling fear of batarians.
