The main character to my novel, The Monster of Amber Peace. I also RP her on my DA group, Silver & Bone, which takes place in an unrelated world (unrelated to my novel).

Personality: quiet, can be shy around those she doesn't know but will adapt according to whom she's dealing with, polite, mischievous, witty, stubborn, over-analytical, two-faced, sometimes tries to assume what other people are thinking and so can be self-conscious, can sometimes be quite petulant and pouts more than she should, cautious, trusts her instincts, creative, resourceful, likes vintage (especially 20s fashion), enjoys history and classic literature, can play the violin exceptionally well, enjoys music and movies of all kinds, open-minded, observant, good sense of humour, speaks French and reads Latin, can be naive and a little gullible at times, a little socially awkward, isn't always aware of what's considered appropriate especially when it comes to other people's behaviour, patient for the most part but can have a nasty temper that takes a while to cool down, holds grudges, generally has good control over her wolf but has a tendency to slip into berserker mode easily when she

Background: (CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS) (AP) Autumn was born prematurely to a dying woman who had been attacked by her werewolf husband in a fit of rage. He had been sick, growing steadily sicker, from The Black Mark of Lycaon, basically rabies for werewolves, thus infecting her with the virus. Autumn, as an embryo, now carries two different strains The White and Black Mark - The White is the older strain, only carried by some werewolves and only affecting humans. The Black affects humans and werewolves alike. However, these two strains together have somehow created an immunity against it and thus a cure could conceivably be synthesized from her blood. Furthermore, the rabid infected (called The Marked), seem drawn to her but, upon biting her and ingesting some of her blood, will go into convulsions and die.

Autumn was pulled from her mother's womb by a friend of the family and psychologist, Dr. Ben Hallowell, who eventually went on to become head doctor at the Amber Peace Mental Asylum - an American run institution in northern France circa 1933. Autumn was thusly raised in this environment by her foster father who had also become infected by the Black Mark when he was attempting to rescue Autumn's mother. At the age of 8, Autumn was raped several times by one of the doctors, and a close friend of her foster father's. Her wolf, who wouldn't mature until some years later, never forgot this, and on her first change at the age of 17, she hunted down and killed him, but from that day forward, her wolf has a near uncontrolable hatred towards all men.

After a lengthy court battle, she was finally deemed too mentally ill to stand trial and was sentenced to permanent house arrest on the Amber Peace campus, to be cared for and watched over by Dr. Hallowell until his death, under which time she'll be considered property of the institution itself. Well, it turns out all those disappearances that had been happening over the years gets traced back to Dr. Hallowell who had been abducting people in order to perform experiments upon them using the cure for The Mark. Naturally he gets arrested at the worst time - the night of the Full Moon, when sweet, young Autumn transforms into her beastly-self. She ends up blacking out as her wolf takes over and attacks the officers who had come to arrest her father. When she comes to, she is lost in the woods and knows she must return to Amber Peace to find out what happened, all the while being chased by rabid werewolves and a werewolf hunter orginization known as the Knights of the Silver Cross.
