"The world's filled with hopes, wouldn't you say?"

Probably my most important character aside from Sky (Route 13 Sky, not generic-use sona Sky), Wayne has been overdue for a reference sheet and a revised bio for a very very long time.

"So what if I get hurt? I'll reach for the damn sky."

Name: Wayne
Gender: Male
Affiliation: Team Ragnarok (Co-Captain)
Age: 16
Height: 2'00''
Weight: 17.9 pounds
Species: Snivy
Appearance: Wayne is primarily a Snivy, which is a reptilian Grass-type Pokémon. Most of its body is green in coloration, while it has a cream-colored underside. A yellow stripe runs down the length of its back and tail, and it also has yellow markings around its large eyes. Yellow, curved structures protrude from its shoulders and bend backwards. These structures resemble leaves or small wings, as well as a fleur-de-lis when viewed from the back, and give Snivy the appearance of wearing a collar. In spite of being snake-like in appearance, it has fully-developed limbs. Its slender arms are the same green color as the rest of its body and have three fingers, while its tiny feet match its underside in coloration and have no digits whatsoever. It has a large, palmate leaf with three prongs on the end of its tail. He proudly wears the pride of Ragnarok; a repurposed short-sleeved Team Rocket shirt. Wayne can extend sharp 'leaf' blades from his forearms, which he uses for more critical combat. When engaging in larger fights, like all other Team Ragnarok fighters; he wears a Maneuver Cloak, fitted for him.

Personality: Wayne is, a majority of the time; very charismatic and witty. He can come off as rude at times, even when he doesn't exactly intend to be rude. He has a habit of bragging, and getting in people's faces. However beneath his quirky exterior is a very outgoing, understanding, and compassionate Snivy. Wayne knows he's strong, and isn't afraid to show it off either. In fact, he's alarmingly powerful; able to stop attacks in their tracks, and even overcome his weaknesses. He can take a lot of punishment, as well as deal it in return tenfold, although he isn't one to promote or encourage senseless battles. He also has amazing reasoning skills, as well as a very colourful intellect.

However remainder of the time; Wayne's not so jolly. Since the early days of Ragnarok; Wayne was always depicted as a flawless, invincible hero. Of course, this most certainly isn't the case. Wayne is haunted by deep emotional triggers, and losses he still hasn't moved past. However, he puts all this aside, and buries himself in a mask of pride for the sake of getting the job done. He's not perfect, he's not invincible, his otherworldly strength can only get him so far, and even then he can still break down. He's unstable at best, and this is his weakness. When no one's there, Wayne tries to vent everything out through his tears, or on rare occassion; an alcoholic drink (he does not get intoxicated, however). For the longest time, Sky, Ragnarok's Captain; was the only one that knew about either of these. In fact when Wayne takes one of his drinks, Sky smokes a cigarette.

He's very attached to Sky, knowing the boy since they were both little; growing up together since they were 8. He considers Sky to be his best and closest friend; and takes after the boy in many traits and aspects. He always stands by the captain's side, never wavering. Wayne also shares the same birth-date as him.

Wayne used to have an ongoing conflict with his big brother Jasper (a Serperior), who was a primary antagonist for a good half of Season 1. Jasper had claimed Wayne was shaming their family name by being with a human (although this was a primary drive, he was ordered to take out Ragnarok by Perfect Circle, being a member at the time). After beating his little brother bloody, and losing to Sky in a fight, something in Jasper clicked and started to slowly transition him from the monster he was, eventually retaliating against Perfect Circle and going to Ragnarok to be with not only his little brother, but Sky as well, and everyone else Wayne considered family. Wayne was quite forgiving, supporting his older brother and acting as if nothing had even happened between them.

History: Wayne was born in the outskirts of Pinwheel Forest of the Unova Region. There he lived with his mother and father, and his older brother Jasper. Wayne and Jasper never really got along, due to different outlooks on life and society, from things as silly as why trees grow, to things as trivial as human culture. While Wayne was always interested in societal life, his brother was never too fond of the world outside the wild.

On the morning before the start of Autumn, Wayne and his family had woke up to a devestating forest fire supposedly caused accidentally by Fire-Type Pokémon (the same fire that sparked ZONE's mad trials of becoming a scientist). Wayne and Jasper's parents prioritized their children, getting them to safety before heading back in to help others, unfortunately, never making it out, resulting in the two Snivies becoming orphans. Looking after eachother for a while; Jasper and Wayne's tensions continued to grow. While Wayne believed the fire was an accident, Jasper believed it was the work of ignorance outside of the woods and wild (humans and pokemon of society). Their ideals clashed and grew hotter and hotter until the two abandoned eachother and went their seperate ways, alone in the wild.

After two or so years of living alone, at the age of 8; Wayne had come across a young human boy named Sky in the sandy outskirts of Castelia City. Sky had noticed the Snivy was all alone and in such an odd place, suspecting it belonged to a trainer who abandoned it, and offered him his charity; to which Wayne declined, feeling as if he needed help from no one. After persuing the Snivy, Sky finally broke through the "walls" Wayne bad bottled his emotions with, and soon the young Grass-type would open up; realizing someone was indeed there for him. This was the first time Wayne had genuinely shed tears in front of anyone, ever since his parents' death. Why Wayne had bottled everything up in the first place is unknown; for even he can't seem to realize why he did it. Perhaps the toll the loss of his kin took on him was too large.

Wayne and Sky grew close quickly, becoming the best of friends; happily accepting Sky into his life. Eventually, he would help create Team Ragnarok along with his new friend. The two have been close for eight years strong, and has bonded with Sky more than any of his other Pokémon; always by the boy's side, the two able to read eachother like a book. Wayne ccame to note that Sky had an understanding of weakness, which he claimed allowed him to accurately judge situations in the heat of the moment. Wayne firmly believes that this understanding, ontop of many other things, makes Sky a good leader, and that's why he and the other members of Ragnarok; follow their captain.

In his training ans growth, Wayne had excelled in terms of strength and stamina compared to Sky's other Pokémon, to the point of being able to overcome his Type-weaknesses to the point of outright ignoring 'Types' in general and turning combat into a match of pure skill, as opposed to the elements. Why he grew so strong was beyond anyone's, even his own comprehension. His strength is outright terrifying, and otherwordly, since nothing else of the natural world seems to compare to it, and the control he has over it. Even after doing a full study of the youth, not even Tabby could figure out what it was that made him so strong. Because of this strength, he makes exceptional use out of the Maneuver Cloaks, able fly at extremely high speeds with just a jump alone.
