Personality: Ellis is a very orderly man who works hard to maintain a stoic demeanor. He has a tendency to think too much if he's provided the chance to do so, but succeeds in keeping such thoughts to himself.

He's happiest when he has a variety of obligatory distractions to keep him from being idle.

Ongoing Story: As Fio's bodyguard, he might be the only reason the young and aloof Banyay hasn't been stabbed yet. Ellis has won the nickname “Patches" for the spots of white he sports in his hair and on his skin. However, unless you’re Fio, Ellis won’t let you get away with calling him this.
Mr. Kane is around 48 years old with a wife and two kids to provide for, and that may be the only reason he accepted the very generously paying job offered to him by Richard Banyay.
He’s also a Sleeper, and so the invisible shenanigans which take place within the Inner City go far, far over his head. As a bodyguard, this gives him a pretty strong advantage over Lucids who might only be able to carry out brute force via their illusions. However, it does leave him feeling a bit like he’s in business with crazy people.
