A western draconic archetype, the designation of 'zhur' relates to the amalgamation of other animals; mimicry in both form and function. Cunning, venomous, and moderately tempered, depending on environment.

Specifics of anatomy

• Head has a trio of curved horns upon the forehead, and two pairs of much larger curving horns protruding from the back of the skull. The largest and top-most run straight back, while the smaller, lower pair fan out slightly.

• No one has ever drawn them the same way, so I'm not very particular, so long as they match the general description. They're also made of obsidian shale, so if you're feeling creative, you can try giving the horns and claws a 'knapped' texture. But it's not required. Oh, and no spinal horns! Many people have continuously added these on their own and I have no idea why.

• Scales are matte blood-red, ventral plates are a dull/dark gold. The wingarms, specifically the fingers, gradient to a matte black. Eyes are also gold, commonly dilated but otherwise slitted.

• Wingarms ('zhur limbs') have grown shorter over time to actually support his weight when walking, climbing, etc. They are matte black and largely bone, with fleshy fingertips and curved talons to grasp objects.

• Tail is spade-shaped with the barbs facing backwards towards the body. Although his entire body/dorsal half is covered in scales, the last half of his tail has a more segmented look, as in it can 'kink' itself to emulate a scorpion's tail to some degree.

• Venom is typically thin and vicous by nature, and it can be seen dripping from his mouth at times. It can also be seen moving upon the ground or climbing up trees, but that's more an indication that the viewer has already been exposed to it and is starting to hallucinate.
