Vale is a laid back iguana guy with delusional beliefs that he is qualified for the positions given to him from video games, for example he believes to be a very qualified surgeon from completing the very difficult X missions from Trauma Center and that thanks to Monster Hunter he is able to fell large wyverns and other beasts single handedly while no doubt that if put into these situations for real he would likely be arrested and/or killed and as such his friends try to keep him from doing things most people would consider insane.
