Gazpacho was a normal Egyptian hound, normal build, normal life, until while inspecting a recently abandoned nuclear plant he disturbed a stack of nuclear waste barrels and an open one spilled on him, staining and bleaching his all dark grey fur to white and green. toxins and radiation spread through him almost killing him. his hair turned purple like the toxins, his nose bright yellow and the imprint of the warning sign on the barrel burnt into his nose and back.

his eyes crazed and his mind shut down and left him under the barrel with broken bones for weeks. he awoke skinny, radio active and with no memory of his past life. he sleeps in the barrel that almost killed him and scares other to stop them becoming like Gazpacho.

Gazpacho due to the radiation poisoning suffers from random hallucinations and is extremely dangerous when he is having one.

he often talks to the small birds and lizards that have settled in the plant, he sees them as family and occasionally leaves the plant to find them food such as stale bread and maggots.

he was 20 when the barrel spilled on him and he has been at the plant for 40 years, yet he has not aged due to being practically dead yet preserved by the radiation.
