Wendigos are a cannibalistic demon that possesses an incurable hunger. They typically live in norther forests and are most active during Fall and Winter nights.

In order to attract prey, they can mimic human vocal patterns and animal noises; often making sounds of a person or animal who is injured. They have inhuman speed and strength. The only possible way of killing one is setting it on fire.

Wendigos often catch and incapacitate their prey; often keeping them alive for weeks to months before they are eaten.

It is almost always hunched over or kneeling. It only ever stands straight if it's about to attack its prey that is within a close proximity.
