Tarrance "Kuro" Kurojima is a wolf neko with a few unique things about him. He is African American in nationality, his hair is naturally strait and deep brown, and his eye are different colors, his left eye being light brown and his right being dark blue. He is a very nice and polite person who really cares for his friends, willing enough to stick up for them and even fight for them. Kuro is also bit nerdy and derpy, but he is quite smart, mature and deep for someone his age. The truly strange thing about him is his past, which shaped him to be who he is today.

He was kidnapped from his family at the age of 5 months. Having an okay life, even though his false mother hardly shown him much affection, Kuro was soon shot by her at age 4 (She hated him, from the time she stole him and down to his very name.) He was then taken to a facility, where he was made mentally broken, tortured by experimental testings that modified his body to be much stronger, and trained to be made into a human weapon called Project Chimera (him being project #713).

From the other projects in the facility, he made a friend that called himself Remark. Three years later, during a test of their ability, he almost died from his test being sabotaged by Remark, who actually worked with the facility.

At the edge of death, Kuro was found by Oblivion, a powerful demon who escaped his prison within the volcano Hekla. Oblivion was badly injured in his escape, so he found Kuro so he could make a deal, for both of them to live if Kuro became a host for him to live with.

Accepting the deal, Kuro and Oblivion were bound by souls, with oblivion living in his shadow and body. After that, Kuro made a run for his life, knowing that the people who made him the way he was wanted to keep it a secret. After wondering to London, he survived by being a thief, until he was caught by a strange man. That man turned out to be the Victorian murder Jack the Ripper, who was actually an angel of death; A Grim Reaper.

Jack saw potential in Kuro, so he took him as an apprentice to be a Grim Reaper. Being a powerful angel, Jack took Kuro through time as a means to train him in many things. Kuro learned many skills, including cooking, playing instruments (guitar and drums being his favorite), and many forms of martial arts and weaponry, but most importantly he trained in becoming a darkness mage and a shape-shifter (this using something called the shapeshifter genetic.) During his time with Master Jack, he made the incredible discovery that his father was the "Skeleton King" of the Grim Reapers, that Master Jack was a good friend to his family, and he was also sent out to find him to help him on his way to the throne.

After training for 11 years to be the Skeleton King (Jack kept track of his age) he was ready to go out on his own. He was allowed to call himself the Skeleton King, even though his father was still in power. He was also given a scythe of his very own called Sherundo, who was a kitsune who lived inside the scythe, and a pet dragon called Ragnarok. Given some final words for him to live by, Jack told Kuro that the world held many great things within it and that he should cherish the people in his life.

He now lives by himself in his apartment, enjoying his freedom and his new life with the friends make, all who he cherish and hold fast to the people he held dearly.
