Personality: Fio meets new situations with optimism, and puts great effort towards seeing things on the bright side. He often comes off as being spacey, with broken speech patterns and a characteristic stutter.

He comes off as childish at his best, and at his worst he's scattered, irresponsible, and and entirely unreliable.

Back Story: Born of Sleeper parents, Fio never outgrew the imaginary friend he had first developed when he was four years old. Upon insisting to his parents that the imaginary little girl named Alice was in fact real to the touch, even he himself grew concerned that perhaps there was something not quite right with the way his mind worked. Out of good intention, his parents saw to his eventual diagnosis of schizophrenia by the time he was sixteen.

For the six years to follow, Fio was treated for the illness, but Alice never went away (rather, she seemed to grow more and more ‘complete’). Even still, he got along relatively well in the world, struggling past the fatigue and absent mindedness brought about by his medication. It wasn’t until Fio was twenty-two that he was told by a distanced uncle on his father’s side (a Patriarch of the Inner City) that he was in fact not crazy, and was scooped up under the uncle’s tutelage to be groomed as his succeeding Patriarch.

Ongoing Story: Fio's uncle now has him seeing a young psychologist (just shy of attaining her doctorate), Nati, who specializes in Lucid psychology specifically. She has identified that something is very wrong about the way his Avatar, 'Alice' had developed. As it turns out, Alice houses Fio's subconscious and carries out most subconscious thoughts he has, which causes her to appear autonomous.

Nati has assured Fio that Alice's behavior as an Avatar is atypical, and may also play a large hand in his scattered thoughts and speech disorders. Now Fio must work with Nati to pinpoint the cause of his Avatar's strange symptoms and from there, figure out a 'cure' if there is one.

All the while, Fio's receiving a great deal of pressure from his uncle to pick up the 'skill sets' necessary to become Head Patriarch of the Banyay clan.

Unfortunately, this isn't all it's cracked up to be, as the politics of the clan is far more brutish, violent, and overall more 'mob like' than Fio is at all comfortable with.
