Concept I first created the concept for Sabaw in summer 2007. I thought to myself, what can be cute, lovable, adorable. If I could have things my way, how would I want to grow up? Well first of all, I'd like to grow up, but never have time go forward. I wanted to stay at a certain age forever. What gender did I want to be? Well, I don't want to be confined to any gender, but if I had to have a leaning one way or another, I prefer to be a girl. What's something that's generally accepted as harmless? Well a toddler in diapers can't harm anyone, plus they're quite innocent. What animal do I want to be? A kangaroo? Well maybe. Perhaps a koala. Iunno, I hear those are mean. What about Sabertooth Tigers? Well there's hardly any back story on them because they were lost to time many many many years ago. I think I'll go with sabertooth tigers, I like how they look and they're quite flexible for molding a story around them. So I have so far.. a gender-neutral girl sabertooth tiger who is as innocent and loving as a toddler in diapers. Now, even though this is complete fantasy, I still want to feel like I'm one with this character, so I want to base it somewhat in reality, even though this is a product of mostly fantasy. I'm male in real life, so Sabaw, is also male biologically, however she is not forced to a gender she was born with. She chose to be more female than male and allowed to behave the way she wants. Even if it comes across that she wants to partake in more male activities like sports, or play with what's considered 'boy toys' or even dress like a boy, it's 100% ok. She's whatever she chooses to be. Her birthday is July 7th, 2007. Well how old should she be? Well I never quite felt like a baby or a toddler, though I've come close. Well her birthday is 07/07/07, perhaps her age should be 7 too. She's a bit too old for diapers I would say, but in a way, it adds a cute innocent look to the entire thing, so I went with it. Coincidentally, it turns out 7 is also the size of most of her clothing.

BackStory Sabaw's story is a bit weird, but weird is interesting after all. Normally in this time period, sabertooth tigers(Smilodons) are completely extinct. However in a lab they found a way to bring one to the current time. A few dedicated scientists found a way to bring a Sabertooth Tiger to the present world using DNA from a fossil and volunteer tigress(Panthera tigris). No one in the scientific community thought that this would work but a few months later the tigress gave birth to a young sabertooth tiger cub who oddly, retained most if not all sabertooth tiger features, with a few regular tiger features mixed in. The sex, a boy. He has the smallest little ears and the cutest little 'saber tooth' nubs. She decided she'd name this new cub "Adrian Raye". Adrian later earns the nick name 'Sabaw' from him trying to say it behind a pacifier a few years later. For the sake of simplicity, we'll call him Sabaw from here forward. Sabaw ended up growing up with his mother and the science community. From a young age he was exposed to all sorts of educational learning. He learned to read and count at age 3. At age 3 something special also occurred. Sabaw's mother and his scientific caregivers never gave him a leaning to how he should dress or whether he's a boy or girl. He was simply allowed to be what he wanted naturally. When given the choice between toys, toy cars or dolls, he chose dolls. When given the choice whether or not he wanted shirt and shorts, or a dress, he always chose the dress. When asked.. "Are you a boy or a girl?" .. Sabaw simply said. "Huh? Imma girl!" Quickly Sabaw's caretakers realized that she identified with being a girl naturally without being pushed in one direction or another. Sabaw's mother and scientific caretakers were ok with this, and didn't do a thing to stop it from happening. Sabaw was happy. That's all that matters.

As the years went by, it turns out, Sabaw is very intelligent. She reads well above her grade level and her math is absolutely suburb. She is extremely well behaved and very well mannered. She has a slip up every now and then but no girl is perfect. She passed her classes with perfect A's. Her star charts are filled to the brim. Sabaw has all the qualifications for being a big girl except for one tiny thing. She still has not outgrown her diapers. She's 7 years old now and in the 2nd grade. How could she not be potty trained by now? Well, sadly it's an effect of being brought from the past into the present. She lacks the ability to hold it, She's no better than a toddler who's started potty training. This however doesn't phase Sabaw in the least bit. It's the last thing on her mind. Even as she crinkles into class, no one seems to notice or care. She's fallen over, bent over, done hand stands and other things to fully expose her diaper (by accident) and no one pays any attention to it. Sabaw's friends and classmates just do not care that a 7 year old kitten is wearing a diaper. It's normal and nothing out of the ordinary. At 7 Sabaw was also taught how to babysit others under the age of 4 and as it turns out, she is pretty good at it, even if she's still in diapers herself.

Curiously, when she turned 7 something else happened. Every year that goes on, she just turns 7 all over again. She doesn't seem to grow any older, as if some sort of time-rift let's time flow but time doesn't actually go forward for Sabaw. She however does not seem to mind being 7 years old forever.
