>>Little Kid: 3 to 5 Years Old<< At this age range, he's starting to find that there is a tad bit of independence in his life, he can sort of ask for things and he can push the boundaries a little more than what a younger toddler or baby can. He can run, jump, climb and play all over. He's in that transition phase between being a toddler and learning to become a somewhat independent big kid. Though he's learning that he can do many things on his own, he still needs help with most things in day to day life from getting dressed, to finishing that silly pre-school homework. At this age, he's either potty training, or almost done with potty training. He'll usually wear a diaper under his clothes as a 'just in case' while he's training. He will often wear his big-boy underwear over his diaper so that he feels that much closer to being a big kid. Even for a young kit, he can still speak with adults with minimal baby-talk.
