Matt Hollinger was once a lazy slacker from Washington with a dead-end job and a punk-rock band that seemed destined to never leave it's garage. This all changed one night when, after stumbling into the wrong alley during a bender, he came across the final gory moments of a werewolf attack. This turned out bad for him when the lycanthrope set its sights on him.

Though he survived the brutal attack, he was forever changed. While practicing with his band one moonlit nights, his body was racked with agonizing pain and, before his bandmates eyes, he transformed into a brown furred, yellow eyed, razor toothed, beast. Rather than be terrified, Matt and his friends were amazed. With his newfound lupine senses, Matt began to discover that their middle-of-nowhere town was actually a supernatural hotspot. Motivated by duty, honor, and the fact that being able to punch vampires in the fact is really, REALLY cool, they decided to take action and fight back against the monsters who pray on humanity. Matt has since taken up the name Mutt, and makes full use of his new animal persona, both in battle, and in his music.
