When Qirab was young, she was forced to marry an abusive male saluki. They had two children, both boys. One day Qirab had enough and killed her husband, abandoned her boys and fled. Later she joined the assassins. Her ears aren't purposely cropped - she has been in numerous fights and lost her ears that way.

Because of her past she doesn't trust anyone - especially male ones. However, she has begun to trust some members of the brotherhood. Seems like one common interest, to assassinate, can make her more open. She still doesn't tell anything about her personal life to anyone. In general she is kinda sassy and evil, she's not afraid to kill, sometimes in a brutal way too. Besides sassiness she is very cynical and not very friendly in any way and doesn't have any friends.
