Basically this guy can breathe plasma, can use pyrokinesis, and that silly thing in his chest is his P.K.D., or PyroKinesis Device, that allows such an ability.

Due to a mysterious infection known as the Corruption that affects one's soul, Aaron Krez is what is known as a Corrupted.

When one is Corrupted, their soul typically takes on malevolent, but instinctual behavioral patterns in both the body and the soul itself. Knowing nothing but to spread the Corruption, they release a spiritual toxin that infects any soul that comes in contact with it, activating a natural trigger that resides in every soul, turning the contacted into a Corrupted.

The body of a Corrupted is always somewhat distorted and inhabits the intentions of creating chaos.

Aaron Krez is one of those that were Corrupted. But strangely unlike all other Corrupted, he doesn't take on the appearance and behavior of one actively. Instead, he undergoes an alteration which results in him bringing on the Corrupted side of him, which only activates when he is under intense short-term stress, such as life-threatening situations. As soon as his stress subsides, he will always return to normal.

Whenever Aaron undergoes this transformation, he becomes fully hostile to anything that moves, even allies. While this change can help him escape situations that he would die from otherwise, the downside is his danger to allies while under this transformation.
