This is a sketch of one of the characters, Quinn Donovan.

Story:

Quinn is 19 years old and going to college to study fashion along with public speaking. She is a lot more feminine than she appears to be. All her years of school,starting in the 4th grade up to the 11th she was a cheerleader and very popular. She used to have long, natural light brown hair, perfect makeup, and always had a hot boyfriend. The summer after her junior year, she lost her sister Harley to a car accident. She sent her sister a text asking "Will you be home soon?" Harley, while driving, texted her back "Yeah, on my way (:"

And as the text was sending she collided with another car and lost her life instantly. This broke Quinn's heart. She was very close to her sister. Her sister was her biggest roll model. She was the reason Quinn decided to be a cheerleader, because her sister had been the lead of her high school cheer squad all four years of high school and even competed in competitive cheer. Before her senior year, Quinn decided to cut all of her hair off and die it white with red tips. She did this because her sister had always complimented her beautiful natural hair, therefore, Quinn chopped it off, feeling undeserving of the beauty. She blames herself a lot for her sisters death. She also dropped out of cheer since it was a painful reminder of what she once shared with her sister. She has a tattoo on her chest of a heart that says "Harley" On it. She also has a text bubble on her right arm saying "Dont text & Drive". she has other tattoos as well, such as a thorned rose on her stomach and chains on her left arm. Her boyfriend, Scott, broke up with her the second day of senior year due to the extreme appearance changes. He felt it would ruin his reputation, since he was the football team captain. All of Quinn's friends were concerned at first and asked her what happened. Quinn acted as if nothing had happened. Eventually all of her friends turned their backs on her. They even began to start rumors about her being a lesbian. She was often called a dyke, although she is straight.

Even though her appearance changed dramatically, Quinn still had the same interest. She still liked cute boys, pop ,music, dancing, etc. But many people shut her out once she changed her looks because they thought she had gone crazy.

Quinn graduates high school and moves onto college. There she meets Ben. He is a basketball player for the university. Ben is actually extremely big hearted. When he meets Quinn he was instantly attracted to her. Her looks meant nothing to him. He loved her personality and listening to her talk. He was the first one to not judge her right from the start. he was also the first to listen to her story and why she changed everything. She even went as far to show him a picture of herself when she was in high school with her natural hair, and such. Either way, he thinks she is beautiful, however, he knows the image she has now isn't herself and he can tell just how unhappy she is with what she had done with her hair and such and he realizes she is doing it to punish herself. So, throughout their story, he helps her getting back to herself. Not because he thought she was prettier then, but because he knew she was happier then.
