This is the scene after Hane runs from the battle that killed his brother. Hane reaches out to nuzzle him(Kaze) but finds that his brother is not solid, he's a ghost. Kaze is the responsible older brother who looks out for his younger brother. Even though he is matted with blood and is covered with manticore arrows/thorns but still seems to glow with a pride and wants to look after his brother,fatherly in a way.

Kaze is an osprey/lion griffin, and Hane is a bald eagle/leopard griffin. The colors on Kaze's feathers are paint, similar to warpaint. Hane ran through the sacred river that was at the base of their mountain ,since Kaze was killed, Hane automatically took the place of leader and the river spirits accepted him. He got the gift/cure of being able to see/communicate with the dead. Turning to see another figure sprinting by his side, he sees his brother he saw dying by the manticore arrows meant for him. He freezes, "Kaze!" he screams, "why? I just tried to KILL you!" Kaze says nothing but approaches his brother. "Lead the Flock well" "Why,you are the best leader we ever had!" Hane reaches out to nuzzle Kaze, but his beak goes right through Kaze "Brother, it's over" Hane backs up,scared. " But,you... you are fine,you got up and followed me, you ... you..." Hane freezes as Kaze shakes his head "No,brother. My body has passed on but my Spirit remains. It got my heart, both my lungs, I'm sorry I won't be able to protect you anymore" He notices a feather out of place on Kaze, it was Hane's Brown Feather. Kaze noticed where his eyes followed " It's yours, I kept one. Every day I reminded myself where you were and why you were. Every day I though through the ancient laws to find a way to bring you back from exile. Every day I thought of you. Hane looked down as tears roll down his beak " I don't deserve that, my daily thoughts were on how to kill you and take back the flock. I though how I would kill you." Kaze snapped up "Behind you!" Hane whirled around to see a demon hurtle toward him in mid-air,claws extended and jaws snapping. Kaze dodged the demon and quickly made short work of it. Hane noticed a large scar on Hane's belly. " A fight with a DrakkFeryn" he explained. "It was on your tail, it wasn't expecting fire" he gave a wink to Hane. Hane sat down and asked again "Why!?" , "I ... I tried to kill you TWICE, after father and mother, I wasn't going to exile you,I was going to kill you!So why!?" Kaze shook his head " It is time for me to go, one day you will understand,brother." With that, Kaze faded from view.
