SO: Straight

Length: About 3.5 feet.

Personality: Heroic, paranoid, stressed, secretive, caring, strong-willed, vigilant, co-dependent/has separation anxiety, protective.

Likes: The cold, snow, storms, rain, cloaks, capes, bird-watching (not hunting), carrot cake, actually any type of cake or pastries, dominating crime.

Dislikes: Excessive warmth, fire, jump scares, villains/crime, hiding things.

Backstory: Novak was, (and slightly still is) a coward. He had stress and anxiety issues, he was paranoid about everything, and overly cautious. Along with this, he was very protective of his friends and family. One day, Novak decided to take a stroll with some friends from the his small clan of spotted tuxedo cats. Of course, Novak was nervous throughout the short journey, and this time his vigilance saved lives. Out of the bushes came a fire elemental in the form of a terrible wolf.

"Grovel before me worthless felines! This is my territory now!" His voice boomed. It's weight felt as if it shook the entire earth beneath their paws. The braves of the group responded in defense. They dug their paws to the ground. Of course, poor Novak did not take a particular liking to this decision.

"Your insolence will cost you dearly!" The creature of flames screeched. Novak hesitated, not sure what to do. He was the clever one of the group, so their lives depended on his quick thinking.

"Run back the camp and tell the chief to pack everything up and migrate as quick as lightning!" The group was hesitant about leaving their cowardly friend behind, but soon enough the ran off.

"Now you can deal with me."

"Well I suppose some well earned infamy couldn't hurt. I won't torture you as much, just a bit of a singe." Novak mustered a squeal before scrambling around the clearing they faced-off in.

As many orbs fire the elemental sent, not one even so licked the tip of the cat's whiskers.

"Why your pitiful, scrawny being is minuscule enough to dodge my orbs of Hell! I have no choice but to call upon my good friend, the lightning." The elemental sneered. He gave bloodcurdling howl, and down came the magnificent but terrible, white-hot bolt of lightning, hurtling down as quick as Novak referenced to. It struck him right under his eye.

That would have killed him right?

Well it did.

Now I'm not saying he's undead, more like 'a second chance'. This part of the story is fuzzy.

According to Novak he had some sort of, you know 'visit', but from elementals.

Cliche, am I right?

But it's true. For his sacrifice in attempt to bring the fire elemental, who is more less a demon, breaking the rules of elementals to get to that point, he was granted the blessing of lightning, as well as snowstorms that come from the rain lightning brings in the winters.

Turns out as he was zonked out the mighty fire elemental burned nearly everybody to a crisp.

Only a few escaped, and they migrated and made friends with the main group.

Novak doesn't have as much fear as he used to, but only a scar. He acts like a coward of course. When he summons his powers his scar glows.

He needed to conceal his identity from the fire elemental in their raging battles (as the fire elemental was gone when Novak awoke, unknowing he lived), and well as criminals. He puts on his cloak when he calls upon his powers, and is then known as Super Nova, in reference of the astral occurrence. He can call upon his powers without the cloak, but only does this in extreme circumstances. He hides his alter ego from all but few.

Gotta add that he received his powers at 14 human years :D
