Overall Appearance: Tamar looks like someone who fell in love with the gothic fad and kept it as part of herself long after the clothing passed out of fashion. Red fur with a white patch starting just below her nose and going all the way down her belly. She has white rings instead of the normal brown that red pandas normally have because her lemur grandmother. Her ears are black and she has a small black triangle below each eye. Her feet are digigrade, but only slightly longer than human feet.

Description of Personality: Tamar doesn't really belong to either the villains or the heroes. She's a neutral with good intentions, but occasionally her methods of fulfilling those intentions are considered to be evil, or at the very least, improper.

She has a sarcastic sense of humor and very little patience for people who refuse to admit the truth, especially if they won't admit it to themselves. Living inside other people's dreams, however, has made her sympathetic to the feelings of others. She will try to help anyone so long as they're willing to work with and listen to her.

She absolutely loves campy horror. The sillier the costumes and faker the blood, the better. She has every movie made by the Hammer Horror Studios and she regularly watches Napping Cat Nightmare TV. She currently has a crush on Freddy Krueger.

Pets: She has several waking nightmares, but she's only tamed two of them.

Dream is the nightmare that allows Tamar to travel between dreams and the waking world. He's her escape. When she couldn't find a place for herself in her own world, it was Dream who made her a dream wraith. He’s very childlike and plays games any chance he gets. He’s also very territorial and will chase away anything that tries to perch in Tamar’s hair.

Guardian is a very simple nightmare. His whole purpose is to protect Tamar from untamed nightmares. In her own world, some nightmares would attack more than just their own dreamer, and end up terrifying people to the point that they would dream their own nightmares about it. So, guardian nightmares became fairly common. Here in the NCD, most of his time is spent keeping Tamar's own untamed nightmares out of her consciousness until she's ready to try and deal with them. But since this world is a dream, he sometimes decides that physical threats from other dreamers are the same as attacking nightmares. He’s large enough for Tamar to lay comfortably inside his ribcage.

Abilities/Skills & Power Level: She's a dream wraith so as long as she is inside a dream she can do whatever she imagines. But, she's afraid to use her powers because this dream is nothing like she's used to. Other than finding a place to call home and manipulating her own appearance, she avoids tampering with the dream. Effectively, she restricts herself to the perceptions of reality of the people around her. She also gets nervous and confused of there are too many people with too many different realities around because she doesn't know how she's supposed to behave.

Once someone whose dream she was living in has woken up it is almost impossible for her to return to that dreamer unless the person remembers her.

Special Effects (if any): She seems more comfortable around the creepy than she should be.

Tamar avoids physical contact most of the time. When she does allow it to happen, she's very careful to make sure she's the one in charge of it. She will touch someone's hand, but she won't let someone else touch or hold hers. From intro: "She always sees dreams, but she's learned to ignore them so that it's kind of like having something flickering in her peripheral vision. When someone touches her though, it's like having that something get really close all of a sudden. When she's not expecting physical contact her natural reaction is to look at it. But I'll leave the choice of what she saw, if anything, up to you since it's not something she can really control in this case anyway."
