The Hybari species which he belongs to is sort of a chimeric hybrid between spotted hyena and fruit bat. Drawing mainly from hyena in the head/muzzle shape, legs and lower body; drawing mainly from bat in arms (arm-wings) and chest/abdomen area.
Naridian is male, and as such overall having a lean but roughly-cut physique (clearly masculine), not too overly muscular. He has digitigrade feet with sturdy claws.
The neck/shoulder mane, chest patch and upper back is a dark russet brown. The short mohawk is a very dark brown. The base fur color is a sandy yellow, spots are black, muzzle a dark grey.
His eyes are near-black, without whites as is normal for the Hybari, and as a result without easily discernible pupils unless you get close. Teeth a stark white, normal red/flesh color inside the muzzle.
Markings and fur:
A dark muzzle, claws and feet. A thicker, furry patch on the upper chest (covering up to the shoulders, tapering to a point just below the plexus) like a flying fox. A short, mohawk-like mane running from top of the head all the way to just above the tail where it fades. The tail is relatively short, and hangs free.
Round spots running along the backside, neck and back of the head, on the thighs and fading (getting smaller and sparser) towards the extremities. No spots on the front of the torso or the skin of the wings, a few smaller ones along the upper arms. The abdomen area is lighter in color.
Clothing and accessories:
Usually very minimal as is customary for his species, sometimes opting for slightly frazzled shorts or a more tribal covering (loincloth/breechcloth) of the groin area, both would be fine. He has one ankle bracelet (fine chain) on his left ankle. No piercings or other jewelry of note.
Despite his looks, he has the generally friendly but no-nonsense nature of his species.
He does grin a lot, showing those dangerous teeth. Naridian has a quite devious streak to him, but is by no means overly mean or a bully. He can certainly stand his ground and would be a formidable adversary because of his natural equipment, if it would ever come to that, and he is certainly no push-over.
