Z023 was the identifying code giving to this young man during his time spent as a slave. He was made tough and cold by the punishment he endured, but it was only to protect the tender subservient that was inside him. Used as a meat shield and personal play thing by diplomats, mob bosses, and other people that happen to have lots of money, Z023 took the time to learn the ways of his masters.

When he was later set free, the cheetah found he could no longer stand being alone and thinking for himself. He was broken in that way, unable to find direction for his life. He has abundant wealth that he stole from past masters that he hardly uses. Instead, he furthered his wealth by lending his wide array of skills to serve the needs and desires of masters he chose by hiring himself out.

His life took on new direction when he met a human kin named Rift in a time of conflict on the planet Tranq. Z023 gave himself and his services to Rift, accompanying him on his coming adventure as a friend and body guard.

While he does care for Rift's while being still, the relationship does not give Z023 the deep satisfaction he is looking for. To this day, he looks for a master that is just right for him.
