This is Chigger's new reference. I love it. ;3;
Chigger is a "literal" representation of me, meaning she's my one true fursona. She also happens to be a redbone coonhound mix (mixed with other hounds). She's large, fun, energetic, laid back, and just a very dynamic personality really. There's a lot of notes I'll be adding to her reference as well as a lot of quirks about her that I just won't be able to fit on it. She will be the embodiment of where I come from, my youth, and things I love.
She can shift into air (not become invisible). Kind of like a light mist; it's green like the color of her eyes. She can do this with just one part of her body, or all of her; but her eyes can always be seen. The reason for this is that I'm air based and when I feel trapped and closed in I want to float away - escape. Chigger will do exactly that when afraid or trapped. She'll dissipate into mist and hover out of reach. Not that she's often afraid. I tend to keep a level head, but I can be startled.
Why a redbone? My first ever hunting dog was a big redbone coonhound. I don't remember his name but he was my favorite dog. As a child I'd hug him and sit near him. He got off his chain and roamed like hounds do and one of our "neighbors" shot him. :C It was horrible. I also have always been inspired by a really sturdy hound - not much will stand in their way once they get their mind set, and I'm much the same way. I also love the book, Where the Red Fern Grows. Such a touching story! ;3;
