Artist Notes: I'd like people reading this to understand that much of this doesn't follow true game rules and is firmly inspired by imagination. No, in the game you can't start as one class then switch to another, nor can you multi class, but if it were real life you could. It was mostly decided by my own progression through WoW. My first main being a priest followed by a hunter and now a death knight.

Also this was written with Warcraft 3 in mind not the books or anything else like that which I have not read. In the game Sylvanas dies on the battlefield not in a torture chamber.

May also include Guild related lore not shared by the rest of the WoW community, most of which is based around Trolls and how much time has passed since game launch. Guild wise 50+ years have passed since the end of the 3rd war.

Personality: Since his transformation into a Death Knight Jaideng has developed D.I.D or Multiple Personality Disorder. In an act of self preservation he created a second personality. Since that time he has managed to mostly merge the two personalities back into one though the memories of his time with the scourge have impacted him greatly.

Jaideng is a troubled heavily conflicted individual, hiding behind a mask of false hyped ego, humorous wit and shameless flirting. Behind the mask is a murky sea of self doubt, guilt, and grief brought on by his long years as a soldier and being one of the few survivors in the battle against Arthas and the struggles against the scourge. It's easy at times to forget or look over the fact that he is a Death Knight and it is only when fighting or during any times of conflict that this coldly calculating killer emerges.

---Scars---

Jaideng carries many scars, evidence of a life of conflict and of the violent nature of his death.

Amani Slave Brand: Given to him during his time as a captive of the Forest Trolls during the Second War this small burn scar is located on the back of his left shoulder. To those who are sensitive to such things it reeks of voodoo magic which is probably why after all these years it remains unfaded and all attempts to remove it have failed. He has recently discovered that this brand marks him as belonging to Shadra, the Troll spider goddess.

Marks of Sylvanas: Four lengthy scars that run diagonal across his torso. Jai gained these at the end of the third war when he was struck down by Sylvanas in her banshee form.

Last Stand: Scars left over by the fight that ended his life and preluded his turn to the Scourge. Though they have been healed for the most part through necromantic means they remain very vivid and ghastly. Jaideng does his best to keep them covered and out of sight. The most minor of these scars are two thin lines on each arm located above the elbow where the limbs had been severed and then reattached. There is also a bite mark on the muscle of his right shoulder and puncture wounds on both legs and his left shoulder where he'd obviously been scewered by bladed weapons. The largest and most prominent scar is located on his chest above his heart where it looks as if something has literally broken through the ribcage and removed the heart it's self. The wound has been healed over but remains an ugly vivid black scar over an empty cavity.

---Age---

Jaideng is old, having lived and fought in all three of the great wars. At over 300 years of age Jaideng would, if he were still a high elf, be considered venerable in age. He was considered an elder during the third war and that he managed to survive his injuries was a bit of a miracle. after becoming a Blood Elf his exposure to Fel energies dramatically lengthened his lifespan and in the four years since the Sun Well's destruction Jaideng's body youthened a great deal, making him appear to be once again in his prime. Now that he is a death knight he of course no longer ages though his hair has paled a great deal.

---Healing---

After the third war Jaideng lost his faith and channeling the light became a difficult and taxing act. His mind had become hot wired to connect healing with pain and attempting to use it caused him severe physical pain. Though he is aware that this pain is only in his mind it has done nothing to fix the problem. After becoming a Hunter he was still capable of small acts of Holy healing but only through great effort.

Now that he is a Death Knight the Light is forever beyond him.
