Priest Judas is a Warfather, a demonic priest belonging to the Tainted Coil faction, who was born with several deformities; normally the placental sack that gestates new demons would gestate, burst, and birth a fully developed demon into being, but his was severed halfway through his development due to a rebellious human ambush. Surprisingly, it was able to birth him, but not without consequences. He is MUCH shorter than the average Warfather (most tower at around 8-9 feet), his facial features are deformed, he's not able to heal nearby demons of their wounds, he cannot birth units, and he can't cast any sort of spells; spells that he is able to cast are simple and hardly do any damage. Despite these birth defects, his mind is still sharp and he's survived as long as he has through a combination of treading carefully through life and (mostly dumb) luck.

He greatly enjoys reading old books and scriptures, along with studying spells and enchantments despite hardly being able to use any of them. He's recently built his own bass guitar which he's named "Vár", and is currently practicing how to play it so he can heal his fellow demons with bass riffs. Like most other Warfathers, his favorite food is salmon, and he enjoys smoking a pipe. He has a significant other; a highly ranked Battle Nun named "Angel", who has saved his life on more than one occasion. His relationship with the others demons and his Emperor, however, is... rather iffy. He's often looked down upon made fun of because of his birth defects, and more often than not is forced into certain "favors" against his will.

Judas is currently living in a Coil fortress in the mountain range at the southeastern border of Bladehenge, just south of Lionwhyte's fortress. He's been given the task of keeping the stronghold's library up to date with books and scrolls, as well as taking count of new demons produced within the breeding chambers. Occasionally he gets sent over to Lionwhyte's pleasure tower with Angel and other hierarchy units to take a census of the units the fertile demons produce. Lionwhyte's is the only place he can interact with humans safely, and is also the place where he obtained the materials to build Vár.

His story takes place several months before the beginning of the game; right when the Coil were beginning to take over the northwestern continent.

Fun fact! His name comes from two sources; the heavy metal band, "Judas Priest", and the betrayer of Jesus in the bible, "Judas Iscariot".
