MICK is the zany, energetic type. He's a real motormouth and it often takes quite a lot to get him to stop. He's always mugging for cameras and can be best described as a ham. He loves to be the center of attention, so it's kind of ironic that he would choose to be the drummer (the guy who is hidden behind the guitarists) but he loves the energizing adrenaline rush that drumming gives him and arranging amazing beats. He thinks of himself as a true surfer and loves that way of life. You can often find him at the Prairees beach house, going for morning walks on the beach, taking a swim in the sunset hours, laying out in the summer sun or going surfing. In later photos, the brown hair on top of his head eventually became blonde-ended, scraggly sun-streaked surfer hair. Even though Davy will go swimming with him, no other member of the band will attempt surfing. He hopes to one day meet a girl who loves nature and the thrill of being alive as much as he does.
