MIKE's life is like a two-sided coin. One side is the Texas cowboy that plays guitar and sings in the Prairees pretending to be the Monkee, Mike, and touring across the country. The other side is a wacky mad scientist bent on mutating humans and anthros alike for the greater good of society.

Most of the villagers only know about Mike as the witty guy in a woolhat and western-clothes that is in the tribute band, The Prairees. He grew up as normal as any other guy had, and acted as normal as any other hyper teenager would. But, when monsters and evil beings started to show up in the village, Mike felt the villagers should have a way of protecting themselves, hence he began experimenting with DNA and became a mad scientist in his basement. He perfects the human/anthro form to give it what it needs to be more efficient at the task at hand, such as giving Paul large claws to fight the giant wolf monster named Fatala (Fate-ala) that is attacking the village. He engineered monsters to fight monsters in order to preserve the village and its people. Those who were experimented on keep Mike's scientific side a secret so that evil won't find him and so that he is treated in a normal way by the other villagers.
