Meet Berry, the plush corgi.

When he was made, he was given a very short tail. Poor Berry didn't like how tiny it was, so one day a kind soul made him a nice long waggy tail. It isn't the same colour as the rest of him, but Berry is a simple soul, and doesn't mind, now that he can wag his tail like a real dog!

He carries a spool of thread and a needle everywhere with him in his little tummy pouch, in case his eye falls off or he accidentally rips a seam. Occasionally he needs to restuff his belly back to appropriate chub, but generally he's very hard-wearing and doesn't need a lot of repair.

Since he's a stuffed toy, Berry isn't very strong, and tends to flop about a lot. He's also pretty clumsy with those gigantic paws. He makes up for all that with his exuberance. He gets excited about everything - bathtime (even though he doesn't like being put in the dryer very much), car rides, snuggles, tea parties, and especially little humans.

Berry loves little boys and little girls. He loves being a special friend to tell secrets to or cuddle when there are monsters in the closet. He'll wait patiently for the right kid to come along and adopt him. When that little human adopts him, Berry tries very very hard to be the best dog and the best friend and the best toy he can. It never seems to be good enough, though - as hard as he tries, every human ends up growing up and leaving him behind. Berry supposes that maybe he just has to try harder to find his forever human.
