Krath and his red tail boa, Thype, are an inseparable pair. The snake had lost several of its teeth during her life and encountered Krath as he climbed one of many trees in his home land. When she did not attack, he cautiously made friends with her. The maned wolf now provides much of the snakes food supply which has allowed her to grow a bit longer and thicker than you see in the image above. Though Thype is still most often seen coiled about Krath's torso.

The pair lives in a home dug into the root system of a very large tree.
