Personality: Curious, childish, energetic, fierce, loving. Following the First Battle of Requiem, and combined with the events of the Halo campaign, Flame became nervous and dependent, relying heavily on Kolt in her times of grief. Currently, she is more or less mentally and emotionally unstable.

Background:Flame was born in 2551 on Reach with three other siblings, two brothers and a sister. Her mother, Reef, took them all off the planet when it was glassed by the Covenant in July of 2552, to the UNSC frigate Pillar of Autumn. There, Flame was raised in the air vents of the ship, well away from humans, though she watched them daily, much to her mother's dismay. She joined the humans for good in September 2552, forming a close bond with Captain Keyes and Cortana. She was nearing two years old when she gained her fire powers. Doctor Halsey was ultimately called in as a result of no one having any real idea of what was wrong with Flame, and later trained her to use and control her fire.

Flame served under Commander Miranda Keyes after the death of Captain Keyes. At the end of the Human-Covenant War, she retired to the Tsavo Highway, deciding she no longer had any reason to stay with the UNSC. There, she met the Flood cat Kolt and healed him. The two formed a close relationship.

In 2556 she was re-recruited by the UNSC and assigned to the ship Infinity, and allowed to bring Kolt with her.

She fought in the battle against the Didact, and later remained mainly on the ship after the end of the war. She reconciled with Doctor Halsey after her arrival, having held a grudge against her for so many years after having seen her euthanize Reef due to illness.
