Personality:

Abbe is a bit of a stubborn case, the type that once has made their mind, it can be very hard to have them back down. Though she can look like she is keeping it all cool, calm and all, she is infact quite easy to anger. She doesn’t show it at first, but her line of temper is quite short. Her mood jump is pretty quick in those regards.

Abbe takes a lot of pride on herself and has a high self confidence. She feels constantly good about herself, even on failures she tends to be able to cheer herself up. Getting Abbe to be sad can take quite a lot. She rarely blames herself about things.

Abbe can be bit cold and less friendly towards men at first. She does not really trust men as much outright as she does women, but she really does it more out of caution due of her past experiences not being so well in that area.

Backstory:

Abbe lived and grew in a Abyssal Crawler community. Once you’re born as one, you’re expected live with them for all time, with their culture and traditions as the communities take quite a hold on them. Abbe however, as she grew older and older was getting a bit, rebellious. She was not too keen on the way the community works and she found some of the traditions outright idiotic. She was in quite a fight with her family often over the things that were expected to be followed. In fact her parents were counting minutes when they could kick her out, they were never too proud of her. The traditions pretty much kept them from kicking her out till the classic 18 line, though they did not stop from punishing her. Her father could be pretty cruel towards her at times. She really did not get too much free time from her mom either.

Her school life seemed quite normal to other kids at the time, she actually seemed to keep a good outer shell and the boys did look at her quite a bit. But then again, any female was highly appreciated in the Abyssal Crawler community as the specie has a very high male dominance, about 80% male, 20% female was the usual ratio. Abbe had bit more shine than other girls though, she was considered really pretty.

As she did near womanhood, Abbe had only one date with one of the many guys during her times but, she ended up feeling awkward on the relationship. She just wasn’t turned on during making out and just did not get the feel of anything in it working out in the long run. She ended up breaking the relationship after quite some time and hoped to still stay friends with the guy she was with, but it did not work out too well, the guy was quite insulted and did not want to even talk to her ever after the break up.

As she started to near 18 she started to find other women more and more attractive, but this caused some issues. The abyssal crawler communities have this thing with women, while as they are treated highly and respectively, even above men in most of the cases, they are still expected to continue family lines, have a traditional family and all, as fast as possible. But Abbe just could not just find men attractive at all, she pretty much never wanted to have that normal type of family, having a kid did not really seem like an idea at all to her. She decided to keep quiet about it as she knew it would cause even more trouble for her.

Once she hit the 18 she got flinged out of her parents house nearly literally. Too rebellious to their tastes. Well Abbe had some relief out of it too though, she had no plans to have contact with her parents afterwards. Even though disrespect towards parents can be really looked down at the community..

She lived by herself in the community afterwards, finding a house was no problem due of the respect towards women they had around there. She lived for quite a bit by herself, spending time by herself, she really focused on perfecting her outlook. She was wondering about starting a career as an actress or something one day.. Though that was bit hard to achieve if she were to live with the community. That part however did not last long.

It was about half an year as Abbe had lived by herself, doing the daily things and all when things started to go bad. She had turned down many, many men during this time that had found her attractive. This started gossips and rumours about her, they were wondering what was up with her? They started to even question her gender or if she’s fertile at all. Whereas the times and culture around the world they live in was quite modern, the abyssal crawler communities were still a bit old fashioned on these sort of things. They found the idea that she just doesn’t want to date men absurd. In fact, some men started to actually get a bit invasive towards her due of their doubts and rumours. Gotta confirm and all.

She was getting really uncomfortable and pretty much started to get hostile. This ended up to a two sided hostility. Abbe was about to reach her limits and decided to look at other towns for a new place to live. But leaving the community was considered pretty much like a treason towards other crawlers. There’d be no going back. It was gonna be a hard choice what to do, she did have some close friends after all in here, leaving them could be hard. But she was getting real tired of it all. Final nail of the coffin was when the landlord heard the rumours and started to bug her, even harass her.

After the last straw.

Abbe was lucky enough to find an apartment that she could afford, and it was quite far off in a larger city. Packing up what she needed, she did not waste much time moving in.

The change was quite huge to her when she finally reached the city. Bit of a cultural shock to a degree.

Abbe’s apartment was in the “alright” zone. It wasn’t luxury and was worse than her old place, but it wasn’t outright dump.

She was planning to keep it temporary anyway. And thats what it ended up after a while too.

Abbe had no real qualities when it came to most of the jobs. She had her looks, and that ended up giving her a lucky strike. She ended up accidently, literally, bumping into a marketing director of a small advertising company when she was heading to a job interview for a fast food place. The director was slightly impressed on Abbe’s fashion sense and looks, with the said director being a very pretty lady of similar tastes. She gave her a card with the places address and asked her to come over the next day for they had need for someone of good looks. Abbe ended up throwing the fast food interview to the trash can and heading home for the day to get ready for the next day..

With such, Abbe ended up getting a career as a model and did not need to live in the worse place that much longer.

Abbe’s Tiara.

Abbe has a tiara that she wears 24/7, one might wonder what’s up with that? The tiara was something she found as a small kid. Ever since then she started to wear it, even though it was at first a bit too big for her. She was really keen on it for some reason, trying to make her take it off would cause her to tantrum. As she grow and the tiara fit better on her, she constantly felt nice with it on her head.

Even Abbe herself does not know why, but she just really, really likes the thing. She only takes it off when she needs to wash her head properly, even then keeps it close to her. Taking the tiara off makes her feel naked and vulnerable. She’s very sensitive towards it. It has really turned into a part of her.

Abilities:

Heatproof. Being an abyssal crawler she’s highly resistant to to high temperatures and fire itself to a degree. Though there are still limits to this, she’s not completely invulnerable to fire and heat. It does extend to quite long degree and she is pretty much able to stand near lava, but not touch it.

Poisonous. Another specie trait, her tail spikes have poison glands inside them, the abyssal crawler poison is not deadly but it causes temporary paralysis.
