Ryo belongs to a canine-like race i have not yet developed.

through some SERIES OF EVENTS, Ryo was killed and then brought back to life thanks to a symbiotic creature that attached itself to her soon after death. however, being resurrected in this manner altered Ryo's body in numerous ways.

while the extra eyes and the weight gain and the fashionable striped tail are the most obvious changes, the most significant one happened within Ryo's body.

through a MYSTERIOUS PROCESS, the symbiotic creature fused to, altered, and eventually replaced Ryo's digestive tract. this has given her the ability to eat and digest just about anything without getting sick, such as rotten meat or poisonous plants.

and while Ryo can still eat normally through her mouth, she also has the ability to unzip her belly (zipper placed there by SHADOWY THIRD PARTY, not the symbiote) and push her now very elastic stomach outside of her body to swallow large things whole. the only problem is that if she swallows something too large, she won't be able to pull her stomach back inside until her meal is fully digested.

she also now has a variety of tentacles at her disposal. these aid in pulling potential food items inside of her, though she has found them to be helpful in a variety of situations, such as carrying groceries without making multiple trips to the car, scratching hard to reach itches, etc. some of them, however, are the symbiote's genitals, which she now uses in lieu of her now non-functioning vagina when she has sex.

it should also be mentioned that the symbiote living in her still has a degree of sentience and individuality despite now being a body part. while it's content to just lay back and let Ryo feed it most of the time, it can from time to time act on it's own accord.
