Saelida is the daughter of a High Druid and a Shaman.

Her father was sent with the council to try and make peace with the Alliance, but the meeting was disrupted when a band of Orcs jumped them. None of the members of either faction survived.

Her mother, after hearing of the fate of her mate, lasted only a few years before her life was taken from a broken heart, and she too returned to the Earth Mother.

During her adventures around Azeroth, she came across a tribe known only as The Thundermoon. Their leader, Ebon Thundermoon, was quick to welcome her and she soon climbed the ranks within the tribe. She took her place as a Dawn Gazer and took it upon herself to look after the wounded warriors and take care of the children of the village.

With her new rank, came the markings she dons on her body. They are decorated in tribal vines and sun symbols to represent warmth and life.

Though she is often found in her feral form, she is quick to act and protects her village with ferocity.

Her mate and partner in life is Pommura Rainfeather, another member of the Thundermoon Tribe.
