Korbinian Jaeger, born May 6, 1918 in Nurnberg, Bavaria, Germany holds the position of General der Flieger* in the Luftwaffe. People know him as 'The Cry Baby General' because he's one of the most overemotional goof balls you'll ever have the pleasure (or displeasure) of meeting. Jaeger holds no semblance of what a General should be to most, but when he's with his men, his demeanor changes drastically. Some people think he might have multiple personalities, but he becomes so serious in the field because he has someone back home he has to protect at all costs.

Jaeger has the astounding ability to give most people diabetes because he's so sickeningly sweet. He also appears to have no IQ at all, is more bubbly than a bubble bath, and is known to cry over almost anything. This is a far cry from the focused, intense tactician that those who serve under him know. He's smart enough to know that if he lets his typical personality permeate his most sensitive duties, he might not be able to make it back to, or protect, his beloved, Johann Drechsler.

Like Johann, Jaeger is secretive about his personal life, though he is far more social than his companion. He loves to be the center of attention and be part of a good party or gathering. As long as people are having a good time! Despite being a bit secretive, and not letting sensitive information slip, Jaeger is rather talkative, and can easily chat anyone's ear off. He is also generally clutzy and a master day dreamer. His earliest memory is that of tripping into a lake when he was 3, topped when he was 6 by jumping out of his window in an attempt to fly. As a youngster he wished to be an Oscar Meyer Wiener when he grew up because then everyone would be in love with him*. He is rather depressed by the fact that he has no wings as dragons were meant to fly. He's also troubled by the fact that his father is a master chef, but his greatest culinary achievement is burnt eggs.

*I know these things aren't historically accurate. If I were going to do any serious publishing involving Jaeger, things would be changed accordingly.

Jaeger is also the star of too many on going inside jokes cooked up by his creator and her zucchini.
