Shereen is the daughter of a successful merchant. While her kind is usually seen as an exotic, yet primitive tribe, the people of the Alliance of free cities granted him the opportunity to make a small fortune as a merchant. This gave him the opportunity to hire the best teachers for his doubtful daughter, who later visited three well known universities in different cities of the alliance. Still, due to her unusual physical features, she remained always anxious.

After her studies, Shereen stayed at the university of Aginos and became a well known botanist. She discovered no less then eight new plants and sent out three expeditions to bring her specimens of the rarest flowers. She has little interest in wandering around in the jungle or other wild places herself, but from time to time she does that, her scientific curiosity overwhelming her fear.

Only few know that Shereen is in fact not a real female, she's a herm, having both male and female characteristics, tho she sees herself as a woman and dresses and acts like one. Her unique body prevents her from getting closer to a man, even tho there were quite a few admirers in the past and she would love to have a normal simple life. On the other hand, it seems like many females can't resist her whenever they find out about her additional, well, equipment.
