Touka Hajime | 藤花 大 by rewy

Touka Hajime | 藤花 大

rewy

Name:
Touka Hajime | 藤花 大
Age:
800-1400 years
Gender:
male
Height:
1,77m
Weight:
varies between 68kg (human) – 85kg (demon)
Species:
mix of a fox demon and a wisteria tree spirit

Eyes: jade green, very narrow pupil in demon form

Hair: cream (towheaded), tied up loosely though still reaches down to his lower back

Complexion: smooth, pale

Dominant hand: right, wields his katana backhanded and with one hand (he mainly uses it for blocking attacks)

Voice: low pitch and smooth

Other Features:

On all occasions he has red markings under his eyes and on his forehead.

In his demon form he has two pairs of horns, one on his forehead (very short, straight and stubby) and another pair above his ears (long and thick, helix shaped like rams).

Hajime is capable of shifting his form into his convenience, but is restricted to stay within a form if part of him is captured or bound.

Uses spirit like foxes to keep an eye on a large area around him. Though he is capable of knowing everything they see and hear, he's not capable of fighting with them. They are mostly for scaring off things that are not worth his powers or cursing people with bad luck. If even one of these spirits were to be captured, he is then incapable of shifting his form at will. Also it causes him physical pain if they are exorcised.

Currently known forms are: **

・ **Humanoid
- Devoid of any physical appearance of being a spirit or a demon, except for the markings on his face.

Spirit - Similar to his human form, but he has fox ears and 6 tails. He is also somewhat taller in this form and his face resembles that of a fox more clearly. He may resemble his normal rather ageless young man or a young boy under the age of ten.

Demon - Similar to his human form, but he has two pair of horns, sharpened fangs and claw like fingernails, also in this form his tail are not actually connected physically to his body. This form is only present when he is angered or he's missing a tail.

Beast - Particularly large monster fox. Shoulder height is at 3 meters and he is capable of taking on others of his size (if he wanted to). He can also stay airborne like a real spirit in this form at will, but it requires concentration to do so. He may also reduce his size to a normal sized fox and hide his extra tails in this form (only from view though).

Formless - What is a trickster without being seen. He uses this method mostly to escape or avoid confrontations which he doesn't want to handle. It is his weakest form, but hardest one to capture.

Clothing:

・ primary outfit (common wear): dark gray kimono with red checkered juban underneath, darker grey (almost black) hakama, dark red heko obi and black haori, leather strapped feet.

・ secondary outfit (commonly when alone or around people he trusts): white haori and tobi pants with wisteria embroideries, purple heko obi and leather strapped feet (though the feet tips are open, revealing clawed feet) he has also 3 golden helix shaped rings tied to the obi and on the rings he has three fairly large foxtails, resembling his connection to his heritage.

・ occasion specific outfit: similar to the second outfit except for the obi which in this one is a green kaku obi (10cm wide), he has a wide black choker covering his face up to his nose, held still with jade beads. He has similar bands of jade beads around his arms.

PERSONALITY

Loves to tempt others into fighting him to be able to satisfy his own hunger, though will not provoke if his taunts are completely ignored. Prefers to not meddle with the life and spirits, though if asked will take on promises in return for trading souls. Otherwise rather calm and kind when he isn't bored with his current mood.

Around public he's secretive and will not speak more than he needs to, which often gives a cold and resentful wibe to those trying to get close to him. Although if you stick around long enough and ignore his threats street-wisely he'll most likely begin to trust you little by little. Though this trust is not to be taken for granted.

Hajime has a habit of not telling everything unless he is directly ordered to or asked to. (Preferably asked to, since ordering him around will get you nothing but bad luck.) But at the same time he's one of the best secret keepers there is. If you tell him not to spread around something even if asked he'll take that into note. Therefore he wouldn't tell even if a murder is committed in front of him and he's told to keep it a secret.

He has trouble confronting others who disagree with him and will brood over smallest issues for years if he's not persuaded to go make peace. He dislikes being rejected or hated out rightly and will try to correct the image he has given out.

As a spirit of the old, he's petty about going to places uninvited. Unless it is a shrine of some sort he'll wait even in pouring rain to be invited in rather than taking the step over a threshold. It is his way of respecting the boundaries between humans and spirits. Obviously this is only on the first time or if he hasn't been to somewhere in a long time (long time - few months).
