Strikeman once resided with his wife and daughter, very close to poverty, he took a job performing tests at a radiation testing facility.

The tests rendered him radioactive and imbued with a small radioactive field around his entire body. This radioactive field gave his wife and daughter cancer which later took their lives.

Now he is a member of LOSS, using his newfound radiation powers to destroy the lives and careers of the scientists who ruined his.
