Hatched within a tropical stretch of islands, Vergence spent his childhood hunting, scavenging and exploring. Competing with his fellow hatchlings as he grew into his teens, quickly growing a reputation among his tribe to excel far beyond his peers. Hunting wearing nothing more then his own scales, his claws and talons serving him far greater then any spear or hatchet his primitive and feral kind could conjure.

His fairly simple life would soon draw to a close as his ventures into the island led him to discover a lakeside military barracks of sorts. Only 13, Vergence couldn't decide what to make of the structures, having never seen modern civilization prior and fled back to his people. Frustrated at the laughs and humiliation trying to warn his tribe of the invaders of their lands, he stormed off into the jungle to in search of solitude. Returning a few days later after making his peace only to find his home in ruins. Following the tire tracks and bullet casings back down to the facility he encountered only a few days before. Spotting an elderly relative caged and frightened he went into a frenzy. Pouncing upon a distracted guard before disarming his comrade. It was only moments before the young Raptor was captured and was brought to the attention of the bases lead of command. Impressed that an unarmed animal could do so much carnage, he decided to raise him within the base. Offering a basic education, meals and training in return for sparing the remainder of his tribe.

Once a slave, Vergence quickly razed in rank, earning the respect and admiration of his fellow mercenaries before finally being offered his independence at the age of 19. No longer accepted among his people due to his human-like traits he traveled away from the island, spending the next couple of years as a Freelance Mercenary, traveling the world for contracts no man can take, but a raptor will.

Traits:

Being a raptor, Vergence has aglity far greater then a normal person, being able to leap, twist and run for hours before tiring. His green hide is quite tough but can be slashed quite easily. Luckily being a reptile leads him to heal minor wounds much faster then usual. Many scars adorn his body due to his preference not to wear much armor and let his regeneration correct any mistakes.

Sexuality:

Vergence has a tendancy to hunt by instinct, letting his common sense slip in order to tap into his hieghtened senses. This does has one consequence that can compremise his contracts, as he easily succumbs to his animalistic urges. Losing his focus, he may end up laying with his targets rather then slaying them. Playing to the lizards lust-filled natural urges can cause him to be easily manipulated into Bisexuality as his trace of thought degenerates into mount or be mounted.
