Masika is carefree, strong-willed, and a bit of a trouble-maker. While still a kid, she prides herself on being more grown up than her age would indicate, often playfully teasing her peers. She loves running with scissors, playing with matches, and dressing up boys in pretty dresses.

Masika isn't above stealing random items on a whim, although never maliciously so. Her pouch makes a convenient hiding place for her treasures. But watch out, as she's usually packing a Nerf Maverick, armed and ready to fire!

Being orphaned, Masika isn't aware of her kitsune heritage, and strange things just seem to happen about her at times. Her friends occasionally find themselves turned into plushies, and she's made friends with ghosts and bridge trolls (the fairy kind, that is!)

The lion plushie she often carries in her pouch, Demani, is actually one of her friends. Demani, in his regular form, is very protective of Masika, despite how much she teases him.
