Arilaae (Are-ree-lay-e) lives in the tall rock spires of Nemm. The weather is cool here despite the growing warmth as you move towards the edges of the continent.

She generally doesn't have much of an exciting childhood. The flight over from the birthplace of dragons went as usual - a little rocky but smooth for the dragoness. She chooses to live in these spires for their tall heights and the beautiful formation they take.

She started her training to be a medic at a young age. The inspiration for this came from the fact that she does not like to see others harmed. She would watch other dragons spar and train, seeing the blood and wounds made a sort of a pit form in her stomach.

Her interest in plants and herbs came soon after her medic training. She always admired her trainer. The trainer, Numara, was a dragon of the tropics where all sorts of plant life grow and flourish. She became adept in medic and plant based medicine. With her knowledge she would travel around the world and teach others, though it was very exclusive. Numara saw potential in Arilaae and took her under her wing.

At the age of 118 she is able to take part in the mating season held around the summer months. The flight was quite dangerous when she went, as the summer months mean very heavy storms. She traveled back to her birthplace and began the complex and tiring process of finding a mate.

Now, a dragon can choose their mate whenever they want - some choose to wait a long time while others go right when they turn the age. Arilaae has always been mature for her age and thought that she was ready to pick the dragon she would be bonded to.

Upon arriving at the birthplace there are thousands of dragons from all over the world. The search would not be easy one bit but it will be well worth it, she would tell herself.

Mating season lasts approximately a month. Half way through the month she had many eyes on her from the males, and some from the females but none of them were of her taste. None of them she felt were the right one.

Walking along a stoney path she noticed a deep blue dragon sitting on a rock, entertaining a group of females. She was drawn to him and saddled up the courage to go over and sit with the group of females to see what he was doing to charm so many of them. She sat towards the edge of the group, not trying to draw attention to herself. She only wanted to admire the sapphire dragon.

He was an entertainer for sure. He liked to say jokes and be a funny man. It was all genuine too, he was getting as much as a laugh as the female group was as well, she thought. Arilaae would snicker quietly to his jokes. He carried on for some while before he took a breather and scanned his crowd with a warm smile. Arilaae felt the dragon lock eyes with her and she held his gaze for some time. There was just something about this one that made her feel good..

He stepped off his rock and made his way to her. When he stood right in front of her she was a bit overwhelmed by how tall he was. He smiled and asked, "And what may your name be?"

Arilaae blushed and replied with her name.

"Arilaae eh? A pretty name for a pretty dragoness. Or rather, a beautiful one at that. My name is Rae. Would you like to go for a walk?" he smiled again and walked past her to lead the way.

Arilaae had a really good feeling now. She took him on his offer.

During this time they got to know eachother and decided what they felt was true. After the couple months of getting to know eachother they decided it was time and started the bonding ritual.

Arilaae is now bonded to her life long mate.

She goes into battle with him as his personal medic. There has been a war a couple months after the egg laying season that was brutal and left Arilaae in shock.

From here she upkeeps their home and preforms medical attention on those who need it in the surrounding area.
