All Gladius can become tainted. Including the four legged Ictus, which forms some of the strangest, warped Amissum. Bone replaces metal, flesh replaces wires, and the machine becomes a horror.
And the Slayer is still stuck inside, melded into the machine, lost in it.
Without knowing who they are anymore... and the machine now moves on its own.
