Barbastelle sketch page for my friend and colleague Joanna's birthday. She wrote her Master Thesis on this species of European bat and still loves these little fellas. :) I used the opportunity to study some anatomy. It will come in handy for drawing dragons and wyverns, I believe! 

Fun fact: In German they are called "Mopsfledermaus" which translated 1:1 means "pug bat". I kinda like that, haha XD
