Such a beautiful suit, white and blue with blue gem stones.
Collodion is orthochromatic blues will look white and reds will look black. It's doesn't help that the plate is not one of my best.

Mortensen? Interesting, but very cool choice. I myself have always had a weakness for that "stressed" and miss-processed style (you mention the quality of the plate), which is why I love the look of this so much, and Witkin's style in general.

I know what you mean. In this case I can't take too much credit because the effect was entirely unintentional. However, that is one of the advantages of certain processes. Even your foul ups have a certain charm.

Yah, the temperament and unpredictability. Part of the reason I really miss doing film photography.
