My first outing in the field with wet plate. Many, many problems. Veiling being the biggest. The veiling was consistent so I should be able to fix that in future outings.

Wet-Plate collodion on aluminum. Ilex 190mm plasmat lens. 1 second exposure at f11.

    I love how this turned out! All of them in fact! It was fascinating to see and be a part of the process.

    What I also really love about this is how birdlike and dark/shiny her eyes are. Awesome!!

      Great suit and you wear it well.
      Thanks for putting up with the process. You were very patient.
      I intend on doing more of these in the future. Hopefully I can work the bugs out of the process and get some better plates.
