Okina by TeaKitsune

Okina

TeaKitsune

My first acrylic painting of my character Okina, who is a young woman possessed by a fox spirit. In earlier pieces, she is depicted as an anthro and without her mask. As she's developed, she appears more human-like with foxish features, such as the ears and tail. She is also closely associated with smoke, as that is her technique for creating illusions.

  • 9x12 canvas board
  • Acrylic, colored pencil, cut paper for the kimono and lanterns
  • Completed March 2009
