A commission for Arcnova of a theoretical future scene in which Arc dies a warrior's death. In this particular image a few seasons have passed since the event took place and nature is reclaiming him. A sad but lovely scene I think.
During our road trip I read some of the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. A running theme in the surreal story is 'and the world has moved on'. I thought it was fitting

Beautiful, and very sad. A warrior's death, but for what honor when not a single soul paid him the respect he was due with a proper burial? His enemies were truly cruel to have left his body to rot where he was slain.
